I want to talk a little about bold prints. I know that they can be a little intimidating. I used to avoid buying bold prints because I felt that they were too flashy and drew attention when I didn’t always want it. However, I’ve learned that it’s important to have a few strong pieces in your closet. Let me explain why.

I’m a busy mom and honestly, most days I don’t feel like a lot of accessories- especially jewelry. I have a couple of necklaces that I can wear with just about anything and I’ll throw one of those on if anything. There are also times when I’m running behind and I don’t have time to figure out which fancy statement necklace will look best with my outfit. Can you relate? This is where a bold print can save the day!

Huge prints have a way of stealing the show and they eliminate the need for lots of accessories. In the set above I decided not to include a necklace. As you can see, the print really takes over. In other words the jumpsuit is the statement piece.

Now I’m going to show a couple of photos that I’ve taken in the past where I wore bold prints.

It may be hard to see, but I’m actually wearing the same red statement necklace with both outfits. Well I hope it’s hard to see because I want you to pretend the necklace isn’t there. See how the outfit stands on it’s own and still looks very stylish.

Bold prints may make people look, but I’ve learned to embrace that attention and walk tall with confidence. In the words of Harry Winston, “People will stare. Make it worth their while.”
