“When women support each other, incredible things happen.” -Unknown

A couple of weeks ago I went to the opening of a new boutique located in downtown Raleigh called Muze Boutique. I had met the owner, Elle, a few weeks prior. I absolutely loved her energy and drive, which is why I was immediately led to support this amazing Girl Boss! I admire a woman who has the courage to step out and make her dreams a reality, especially when it supports the community. Muze Boutique carries apparel for the woman who is a a trendsetter, a tastemaker. I love the personalized atmosphere. It’s perfect for taking a few girlfriends to chat it up, shop and relax. Be sure to keep up with upcoming events, new products, and more at Muze by following them on Facebook and Instagram @muzeboutique

At the opening, I purchased a denim dress that I had had my eye on since the first time I walked into the boutique. I knew from looking at it that I would wear it as a tunic because I tend to like my dresses long. I also knew that I’d have to style it to flatter my frame. Although the model wearing this dress looked amazing, it didn’t look so great on me. But being a stylist, I wasn’t intimidated by this. I knew exactly what I needed to do. Take a minute to view the short video below to find out how I styled this petite style to compliment my plus size frame!
